Yes Men

What the world needs in these times are men and women, who would be “Yes Men” and women.

Most of you might have seen the movie “Yes Man”, and I`m sure enjoyed it. The guy who attended a `motivational conference` with the theme: Yes I can.

Pro 11:3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them; but the crookedness of traitors shall destroy them.

However, what the world needs, are not those kind of `yes men and women` who would say `yes` to everything, but who would say `Yes` to the principles of God`s Word and a very loud `No`, to the things of the world.

Compromise is so easy to fall into.

It’s so easy to make promises and to say `yes` to the demands that society would place on us.

Psa 1:1 Happy is the man who does not go in the company of sinners, or take his place in the way of evil-doers, or in the seat of those who do not give honor to the Lord. 2 But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and whose mind is on his law day and night. 3 He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which gives its fruit at the right time, whose leaves will ever be green; and he will do well in all his undertakings.

Walking in integrity and refusing to compromise has it’s benefits:

1. He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water: People of integrity have strong foundations and principles. When times are tough, when they are faced with challenges, they can stand strong. Such people can not be pushed around and be intimidated. They know who and what they stand for.

2. Which gives its fruit at the right time: Because such people have there priorities in place and because they refuse to compromise, in due season, they will reap their just reward. The fruit they bear, will be the stamp of God`s approval on their lives.

3. Whose leaves will ever be green: Have you noticed how some people seem to just get `better` as they grow older? When you sit with such a person and you discuss their lives and look at what they have accomplished, you will soon realize that they are people of integrity and passion. They grow old gracefully, safe in the knowledge that the lives they lived, leaves a strong and Godly testimony.

4. And he will do well in all his undertakings: People of integrity will eventually achieve success. They will perhaps face adversity along the way, they will face challenges and tests and trials, but, because they walk with integrity and because they refuse to compromise, they will achieve success.

Gal 6:9 But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.

Giving up and losing heart, will never be part of the vocabulary of a person, who walks in integrity. They know, that by being consistent and through perseverance, reward will come.
